FROM THE WORKSHOP
TO THE ROAD

Nearly 30 years

It began as New Gaya Motor, a small shop in Palmerah selling Vespa parts and accessories. One thing has stayed the same since: parts chosen by people who have actually ridden and raced what they sell. Founder Roby Davidsen Tansil grew up in a family already working in this field. He is a fixture of the Vespa community, and just as much a lover of fast bikes and cars. That history is our edge. Here is how it happened.

The racing era

New Gaya Motor Kota Harapan Indah, Bekasi

At New Gaya Motor Kota Harapan Indah in Bekasi, the business began expanding into racing parts. In 2011, a Suzuki Satria F-150 built by Roby Davidsen Tansil, fitted with a lighter Honda CBR150 piston, took the FFA Class up to 250cc 4-stroke title at Karawang Drag Bike.

In the press

Covered by Motor Plus, 2011 & 2012

The CBR-piston build was more than a shop rumor. Indonesian motorsport magazine Motor Plus covered it in 2011 ("Ampuhnya Piston CBR") and ran a second Satria feature from Bekasi in 2012 ("Lawannya Sport 4-Tak!").
